Union Awards 2012

On Wednesday 16th of May 2012 the Students' Union will reward and recognise the achievements of our students, staff and societies. Hundreds of students submitted nominations for who they thought should win in a variety of awards categories. Everyone is welcome to come along on the night to find out who the deserving winners are.

The awards ceremony will be held in Club Academy in the Union building on Oxford Road at 6pm on Wednesday 16th with drinks offer and hosting by FuseFM's Dean Webster.

Pangaea Festivals

We are pleased to announce that Summer Pangaea 2012 tickets SOLD OUT, in the shortest time on record. The demand was phenomenal and believe us when we say it took us by as much surprise as it did you lot, the punters. Whilst we knew the festival was likely to sell out we had no idea it would happen within a day of the tickets being released.

The awards recognised the environmental work of students’ unions around the country and this year had a record 105 unions competing for the 9 awards. The awards are part of the NUS Green Impact initiative which provides environmental accreditation for students’ unions, helping unions to showcase great environmental practice.
