Chernobyl Childrens Project

The Chernobyl Children’s Project is a small student branch of the UK charity.  We aim to raise money for orphans in Belarus who have been badly affected by the Chernobyl meltdown in 1986.
We raise funds for medicines, humanitarian aid and training of staff in Belarus.  We also aim to raise awareness of the ongoing social and political problems Belarus faces.
We have close ties to the main UK charity and send out student volunteers to orphanages and summer camps in Belarus during the summer.
