Conservative Future

Universities of Manchester Conservative Future is the official embodiment of the Conservative Party on campus.  As a society our main aim is to campaign during General Elections and to get Conservatives elected locally.  This means:
- Opportunities to travel to other parts of the North West.
- Make good contacts with local politicians.
- The chance to stand in local elections as some of our members did last year.
- Campaign days even in other parts of the country.
- However, in the process of doing all this, we have regular social events which have included:
-Hagueathon (a William Hague – inspired pub crawl)
- trips to the dog races
- trips abroad to Europe
- events in other parts of Greater Manchester
- Christmas meals
- Exclusive events lined up for Conservative Party Conference 2011.
- We meet regularly every Thursday at 7pm at a specified location, and will be holding a wine event
   during Welcome Week.
