Singapore Students' Society of Manchester

The Singaporean Students’ society of Manchester aims to connect those who have an interest in Singapore, Singaporean or otherwise, with the greater community of students at the University of Manchester.  Our aims are to care for the welfare and to provide support to our members.  Whilst helping to maintain links with Singapore through various cultural and social events.  The society acts as a representative of the Singaporean people, and distinguishes itself from other societies by organising events that are unique to Singaporeans, helping them to bond and foster cohesion amongst the Singaporean students, whilst working and interacting with other societies from the South East Asian region.  We also aim to ease the transition into a new lifestyle at the university for all first years and new Singaporean arrivals.  Anyone is welcome to join us and gain a Singaporean perspective of life in Manchester, and to participate in our activities and get to know Singapore through her people.
