Welcome to the MRes Society
website. We hope you find this site useful or if not, at least mildly amusing. The MRes
Society is a Manchester University Student Union Society and has been going since at least
1997. Allegedly our primary reason for existing is "to
provide a support network for the members of the various MRes courses" but this is really just an excuse to steal each others text books and to
share the responsibility of providing snacks for Friday's lessons.
This website has been put
together by Cathy Brewster and is maintained and abused by Dan MacLean to provide a reasonable
form of communication between our members.
