The Raw-Rock Society provides a social network for peope interested in rock music. We regularly organise social events and meet up weekly as a society. We're awesome! 

We are Warped, a friendly science fiction and fantasy society.  We meet every week at the Burlington to discuss modern/vintage science fiction and fantasy, whether that be TV, Film, Books, Comics or any other form.
We also organise exciting treats and events, such as going to see `Star Wars’ in concert, `Dr. Who’ live and `War of the Worlds’ at the M.E.N. Arena.  Also, we plan to hold showings of films and TV shows every few weeks.

Enabling students to complete the Duke of Edinburgh award, either completing an unfinished award or starting from scratch.

Nerds (and non-nerds alike) coming together and further sedregating themselves from society, but at least making some nice gizmos in the process.

Computers are ubiquitous in this modern age; blinking, blurting and beeping away for us humans.  Manchester ultimate Programming is all about reining in the array of digital machinery and computational power that surrounds us, and getting it to do new/cool/interesting things.

The People Society is a multicultural society aiming to bring together students from all different backgrounds and cultures.

Scalpel is the surgical society and organises  lectures and workshop days to help students who have an interest in any specialty of surgery.

Manchester Student Scout and Guide Organisation is a society for ex, current and potential members of Scout or Guide movements.  We meet on Thursday at 7.30pm

Society members stay updated on technical investment analysis news and methods. Members share ideas, knowledge and career opportunities available in investment analysis field.

SIFE University of Manchester has a head for business and a heart for the world.  Although our society is not exclusive for Manchester Business School students, anyone can get involved and make a real difference. We run community and commercial projects that adhere to economic environmental and social factors.  SIFE gives students a chance to be actively involved all year round and enables them to make a real impact on the wider community while improving their CV’s. 

Roleplaying society meets every Tuesday to play tabletop roleplaying games.  While Dragons and Dungeons is the most know game, our society has groups running several different games of wildly different settings and styles.
